Impulse Paramedic Mobile Application

The Impulse Paramedic application is intended primarily for authorized students, instructors, and other approved users participating in Impulse Training Academy programs.

Depending on the user's role and features available within the application, information processed by the app may include:

• Name and account information
• Email address
• User role, such as student or instructor
• Course and cohort information
• Class schedules and instructional information
• Instructor assignments
• Announcements and program communications
• Clinical progress information
• ALS team-lead progress information
• Other educational or program-related information necessary to support participation in the Paramedic Program

The application does not currently provide direct integration with Fisdap. Information displayed within the application may be entered, maintained, or transferred into Impulse Training Academy systems through authorized administrative processes.

Account Authentication

The Impulse Paramedic application requires authorized users to sign in to access protected information.

We use third-party technology services, including Google Firebase, to provide authentication and other application services. Authentication information is used to verify a user's identity and determine the information and features the user is authorized to access.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should not share passwords or account access with others.

Push Notifications

The Impulse Paramedic application may request permission to send push notifications.

Notifications may be used for purposes such as:

• Program announcements
• Schedule-related information
• Class or instructional updates
• Important program communications

If push notifications are enabled, a device registration token or similar technical identifier may be processed and stored to allow notifications to be delivered to the user's device.

Users may decline notification permission or change notification settings through their device settings.

We do not use push-notification device tokens for advertising or marketing tracking.

Account deletion does not necessarily require deletion of educational, regulatory, accreditation, financial, or other records that Impulse Training Academy is required or permitted to retain.

Certain educational, regulatory, accreditation, financial, or administrative records may need to be retained even after an account is no longer active.
