What are the admission requirements to apply for the EMT program?
EMT Program Requirements:
Driver’s license or additional form of photo ID (Ex. State ID, passport)
Applicant must be at least 17 years of age. (Please be advised that students must be 18 years old to take the certification exam)
When does your EMT Program start?
Sessions of the Campus EMT Program start every May and September.
Sessions of the Online EMT Program start every March and September.

What is the deadline to apply?
Impulse Training Academy does not set application deadlines. Our applications stay open until the class is full.
How long is the EMT Program?
Impulse Training Academy EMT Program is 192 hours. On average, the course takes 4 months to complete.

Does IMPULSE TRAINING ACADEMY accept Federal Financial Aid?
No, This program is not eligible for Title IV funding (no FAFSA).
Does IMPULSE TRAINING ACADEMY accept the GI Bill?
No, but we do offer discounts to any students with previous or active military service as a sign of our appreciation.
Once I am accepted, how much do I have to put down to save my seat?
Once you are accepted into an IMPULSE TRAINING ACADEMY program, you must put down a $2,500.00 deposit to save your seat. The payment goes towards your tuition.
